Depending on your pet's drinking frequency and the number of pets using the fountain, it is advisable to replace the filter every 1-2 weeks and the sponge every 2-3 weeks to maintain fresh water. For households with multiple pets, it is recommended to clean the water dispenser and replace the filter and sponge more frequently.
